"Raise What's Left of the FLag for L"

My first AMV, so give me a break if it's not up to snuff. Hopefully I'll get better at it as I go along. I made it for a con competition just because it seemed like it would be fun.

This video is a tribute to L from "Death Note," who is one of my two all time favorite anime characters. It's set to Flogging Molly's "What's Left of the Flag."

Team L FTW.

And of course, in case anyone is somehow terribly confused and is giving me far too much credit, niether the "Death Note" images nor the song belong to me. They all belong to their respective owners, (Tsugumi Ohba, Takeshi Obata, VIZ Media, Shonen Jump (The video), Flogging Molly (The song), what have you.)

Thanks for the feedback. :) I also think the second half of the video is stronger than the first half. May I ask why you think the second half is better, though? Is it too slow as far as the pacing or do you think the second half is technically stronger, with better transitions and such? I just ask so that I can take it into account when creating future videos.

I had an idea for Flogging Molly/Death Note AMV using "You Won't Make A Fool Out of Me." There are scenes in Deaeth Note that I think would go perfectly with the lyrics. I'm just really lazy, and I've never made an AMV before so I don't want to butcher it. XP Maybe you could do something with it.

That's a good idea. ^_^ Now that I've graduated college, I'll actually have more time to do AMV's. I'm working on soem right now that have a little priority as I'm hoping to maybe make the deadline from AMA's AMV contest (The deadline is near the end of this month), but I think I'll add "You Won't Make a Fool Out of Me" to my potentials list for my next couple of AMVs. Thanks for the idea! ^_^

Thanks! It took me a while of looking through the episodes to try to match it up. I have most of it perminently engraved in my memory now, but having memorized most of "Death Note" isn't necessarily a bad thing. Thanks for watching and commenting. I appreciate it and I'm glad you liked it.
