Sikhs are a separate nation with their own type of music.
Dr. Gurnam Singh explains the separate identity of Sikh Sacred Music as prescribed in the Guru Granth Sahib Ji , and focuses on Gurmat Sangeet Shabad Kirtan. He explains his performance of a Mangla Charan, and how it is a part of Sikh music. He then explains the uniqueness of 'Partaals' in Sikh music, what they are, and how they DO NOT appear in any musical system.
Bhai Kultar Singh Ji Ragi explains the original concept of Kirtan introduced by Guru Nanak Dev Ji, and how many of the Raags were originally introduced by the Sikh Gurus.
