I didn't know that a Geyer wrapped horn was available in nickel silver. Sounds great!!

@cpthornman It may look like nickel silver in the video but it is brass. It's a Ricco Kuhn horn made in Germany.

Beautiful! Just wonderful Mr. Park's...I played the Alexandra french horn, but while playing in the symphonies my horn instructor, Mr. James H Wilcox back in the early 60's suggested I switch to the large bore Conn 8D which I still have today..I am throughly enjoyed listening to your wonderful trills, high and low range which you have mastered...Thanks for sharing your wonderful God given talent...Someday there will be thousands of horn players in heaven..Want that be wonderul...

Aprr. 20 years I played the French horn but for several reasons I stopped playing 10 years ago. However, by coincidence I came across your contribution and listening this movement I decided to buy a horn and start over again!! I´m touched! Your intonation en tone is in my opinion like Dennis Brain´s. Your right, it is a very beautiful mvnt.

There are many fine horn passages in Joseph Haydn's symphonies #31, #39, #60, #73, #6, #7, #8 + others and also many of his masses, including Mass in Time of War, Harmoniemesse - arrange these for your students and passages from Sibelius Symphonies and Lemminkainen Suite op. 22. Michael Haydn also.

Steve, I've always had trouble with uper register. Have overbite. Could this be the cause? What can I do to compensate?

You have fantastic lip trills, but I wonder why you don't add a 'nachschlag' after some of the trills?

It will go on tarnish, trust me, my did ever since I scrub the lacquer, but the sound will get more mellow and velvet! (your thrills are phenomenal, is your moutpiece wide or narrow rim?)
