SeanoStang, Thanks for posting this video; the music is a nice touch. We got this system for my 10 year old and we are just now figuring it all out. We switched from Ominpod back to this system when the Sensor became covered by our insurance. I hope it's helping you keep your blood sugars in check. Thanks again for the video, Krista

Ive had a minimed paradigm for about half a year now but Im just now getting the minilink. How does it work and does it help you control your overall numbers?

Cool video man. Does the arm work good for you? I have never tried it there before.

Great chart line you've got going there! The video makes a sensor changeover look fast and easy. Can't wait 'till I get adept at changing my minilink, too. Happy pumping and may all your BG's be in your target range. :)

Great video, you make it look so easy, it usually takes me 1/2 for both the sensor and pump at once. And thanks for the advice on the arm! Stay positive, I've had Juvie for 51 1/2 years---you can have a long, long life.

best pump yet...the only problem was a computer error a few months after i got it, but customer service was great and they sent a new pump to me in about a day.

Nice video. I've got that exact same system (except my pump is "charcoal" colored). Do you ever bleed (like a lot) after you put the sensor in?

i did bleed a little in the video...
bleeding is fairly normal with the system, as it is a thicker needle than most anything else you leave in your body for days at a time. if you bleed profusely, it may be because the needle is too deep. the sensor reads your glucose level from interstitial fluid, not blood. so if you get a lot of blood (if it doesnt stop bleeding for a while), you may have gone past the interstitial fluid and you may want to redo it.
hope this helps
just my opinion

Wow, thank you. I knew about the interstitial fluid reading but didn't realize that if it bleeds a lot then it's probably in too far. Thanks!

it varies, i have experimented with the angle of injection, and i'm sure its different for each person.
