I still don't get why it would be a big deal if the dude was Muslim, I mean what the media is really trying to say is that Muslim = terrorist, and thus no Muslim can be in office, and that there is a load of crud. Freedom of religion, my little cat's bottom!

If anything this whole affair should further discredit Clinton and McCain.

Clearly the conservative pro-NAFTA Canadian government favors Pro-NAFTA McCain and the wife of the president who ushered NAFTA through congress, Hillary Clinton.

The Canadian government has leaked a false story to the press, which they have later had to apologize for and correct. Nonetheless, both Clinton and McCain have exploited the non-issue.

Shame on the Republicans and Hillary Clinton.

The Clinton machine has always been expert at going on the attack and promoting divisiveness in the American public. McCain was cleared of any possible connects to Keating5 - that was just recently again in the news. All politicians have dealt with lobbyists. It is a matter of whether they actually give them anything. I actually think Hillary will and is doing better running on her own stand, as opposed to her husbands. She did say so in the debate. She is the one running. Everyone in the world talks to other people to make decisions and seek info.
