I was asked how I cut my EPP foam by someone on the phlatforum. This is how I do it.

Feed rate is 35IPM.

  • Thanks guys. Only modification I have done since is to clamp two guides to the front of the printer. Just to make 100% sure that the foam does not travel or twist. Once I had done that everything just works perfectly every time.

  • That is a great idea using a glue gun! I have been using the carrier sheet to keep the EPP "stable" for quite a while, but I have used masking tape instead of hot glue. Your idea is much better in that glue sticks are much cheaper than rolls and rolls of tape! Thanks so much for sharing!!
