  • The more I hear Bream, the more I realize that he was the best.

  • thanks so much i have been looking for this recording of mallorca for so long, this one is the best, his tone is soothing throughout it, played with finesse, just goes together so smoothly, i wasnt even able to enjoy the other versions of this on youtube, only breams

  • I like to be pedantic: written in f sharp minor for piano. Transcribed to d minor here (as far as I have not gone tone-deaf yet).

  • learning this piece right now. thanks for the inspiration

  • Julian Bream is to John Williams what Modernism is to Baroque.

  • The thing i like about Bream is that he makes John Williams sound like a pretender.

  • Yeah, yeah, fabulous :oP

  • ¡Qué placer! Impecable ejecución.

  • @topleft26 Hahaha - brilliant. You and Bream sharing a cabin on a tanker full of toxic waste on its way to Iceland!! You must have been about 6 or 7 at the time. I'm surprised he didn't just chuck you overboard, but in a way I'm pleased he didn't... :-) Great imagination mate - you should be on the box with your memoirs of all the famous people you've never met! A bit like Sir Henry Rawlinson....

  • @nickmctrick I feel ya, man! The three best are Segovia, Bream and Williams. Not necessarily in that order. All three awesome in their own way. My first exposure to the classical guitar was Bream. It was a cassette called 'The Art of Julian Bream'. I later found it on vinyl. It's an awesome album. Hard to find. I wish they'd reprint it on CD.

  • @topleft26 That is either to crazy to be made up or complete BS! Either way, epic story LOL
