Dive on the wreck of HMS SCYLLA on 9 Aug 07. An Exocet Leander class frigate, the last frigate to be built in Devonport Royal Dockyard in 1968. She is 113m long with a displacement of 2500 tonnes. In 2003 she was bought by the National Marine Aquarium and sunk as an artificial reef in Whitsand Bay, Cornwall.

  • I would love to dive this wreck this year, how deep is it?

  • The wreck is about 15m give or take to the deck (depending on state of tide and which bit you go onto) and about 25m give or take to the bottom (depending on tide).

  • don't be sad Aiden. She is a cracking ship and is starting to look beautiful. The bridge is full of life. Alot of people are enjoying her again - almost a rebirth of the ship - not a death

  • That makes me so sad, she was my home for three years and a cracking ship.
