@GV1UK Right on, they both compliment each other... analog and digital of course but yes sampling on the MDUW and not on the TEmpest. I hpe you have fun with both...peace ;)

@Lemure333 Same as my reply to inforlk. I wasn't comparing the MD to the Tempest, I'd like them both because of what each does. I chose the Tempest first. But, I want it because of it being an analouge drum machine. It sounds amazing! I have samplers and synths but I've always wanted a quality analogue drum machine. And here she is :D

@inforlk I know this bro. But I had 2 things on my wishlist, and thought about the MD before the 808 and once made aware of the Tempest that got put on my wishlist too. It wasn't MD vs. Tempest. It was just what money could afford and what I'd get more use out of at the moment.

@GV1UK Indeed, totally different machines in comparison.I have the MD and blah blah blah trinity blah lolz but the Tempest is a mean ass BEAST.I had to get one, waiting ;)I would highly recommend the MDUW but if you had to get one first, I would have to ask what you are looking to do? Being that you get analog drums and synth in this kit but with the MDUW version you get so much drum, sampling & odd synth sounds too. Either way,you cannot lose.I would never give up the MD or MnM.I hope this helps

whats that funny looking cylindrical metal tube sitting to the left of the tempest ;) perhaps it grants you special powers! good shit man!

sounding sick
Defiantly the best Tempest video yet. This video has tipped me. I was due to get a TR808, but then I thought about the machinedrum. Some dudes on the elektron forums pushed me to the Tempest and now I am totally freaked out over this. I WANT ONE! Monday though shall be mine!

@GV1UK I have the Machinedrum and I can assure you it has nothing to do with the Tempest.
Elektron Machinedrum: Digital
DSI Tempest: Analog.
I recommend it
