Does no one else see that he is being sarcastic??

What was cut out were just snippets....the last part an opening line.

Listen to his tone, there is a giant HOWEVER around the corner.

Goodness, it's called editing! Post the rest of that speech and then people can go nutty

Some people will just hear what they want to hear and yet others have an inability to understand sarcasm.

Isn't ironic that we fought for decades and spent untold millions of dollars to battle communism, and now we have them in the White House? It should be alarming to people that this is what is running the country.

Time to adjust the american flag. replace the blue with red, make the stars yellow, and the white stripes green. Be honest at least

Reaganism is still alive and well, Obama didn't do anything to make the system different from what it was, he just bolstered the same failed ideologies. I feel Obama is switching economic venues, instead big banks, why not fully monopolize the big insurance and big pharmaceutics! He is doing nothing to give people free healthcare, let alone affordable. The bill H.R. 3962 is basically giving Insurance 45 million more costumers nothing really more than that. your Health is a Right, not a reform

Capitalism is exploitative by nature... How can someone make profit and compete without exploiting an opponent's weakness or a cheap resource? Corporatism stems from capitalism that strives to protect its profitable means, and likewise, the capitalistic government also strives to protect the same means. This is why people like Joe Bidden say "Socialism for the Rich, capitalism for everyone else..."

Capitalistc government? That sounds like an oxymoron. The only way for capitalism to function properly is without government interference. (which hasn't happened in a while). For some reason most people believe the U.S. still has a capitalist system, when the merger of state and corporate powers is fascism.

Where does corporatism system from? capitalistic ventures... people act as if capitalism is the answer we need now... But capitalistic principles have been alive and well since Columbus, and the exploitation never stopped. Adam Smith is turning in his grave right now, Karl Marx would be laughing at wall street right now... It is the way the government conducts itself which is fascist, I agree, but remember where it stems from...

Here's a little inconvenient truth for you:

Government oversight and regulation of the economy is perhaps an evil, perhaps not. That doesn't matter. What it is, however, is necessary. Without it, you'd have corporatism and either oligarchies or monopolies throughout the entire economy in no time flat. So, continue your free market tirades, but don't forget to welcome your new corporate overlords.

Unrestricted capitalism is just as destructive as communism.
