Jim's First Real Video-Marriage Equality

This is just a little rant about marriage equality and how it relates to my partner and I. Dave and I have been together for over 18 years and we live in Ohio which has no marriage or civil unions for gay people.

I did not "come out" until I was 30. (that is another video) I was tired of being alone. Nobody should have to be alone! Dave and I have had a blast since we met..BTW..the comment about "Dad"-he is only a year older than me but has had gray hair since he was in his late '30s.

I have no desire to change or make straight couple's marriages unfavorable!! In fact..I think marriage is a good thing!! Straight people-GET MARRIED to the person you love!!!! Please accept that thought and let me do the same....thanks.

Good start but a little "restrained" for me. Your too nice. But then I'm ready to do a beat down on anyone denying me equality. I'm not willing to wait another twenty or more years in the hope that MAYBE someone will throw me a scrap. I hail from PA originally but have lived throughout various parts of the states and even have spent some time abroad. Sadly, with little or no support in my views, I'm stuck with leaving the country in search of greener pastures.
