This 18th Century recitation of thirteen attributes of God's mercy takes its text largely from the book of Exodus. While it traditionally invokes God's mercy, think of it also as a suggestion for who we might be in the world - slow to anger, quick to forgive. Sung here by the 5769 High Holy Day planning committee. English text from Kol Haneshamah, the Reconstructionist machzor.
