@Rabiesplzftw Even if it was a pub game, codex on vj is a good item, you use cursed ground and then codex, and you're pretty much guaranteed 2k damage.

@adr58 ok and your point being? If you are playing with a group of friends and you guys all know what roles you will play. Its safe to assume you can rely on your friends/clan to do good. Maybe then you wont have to get a dagon/codex. Either way though this video doesnt say its a premade clan match or anything. We could all actually assume it is a pub game. Either way pub or not it still doesnt somehow make codex/dagon a bad choice for Witch doctor/VJ.

ok so? getting codex does not automatically prohibit you from not getting kudras. If you are honestly telling me you would go kudras which cost 5675 gold to make over a codex that cost 3000g early game then thats a pretty stupid strategy. You would be farming more and not in fighting in team fights. Hence not supporting at all. The point of codex is too get those easy kills with your curse so you can get the gold to support.

@HoNSkillzNils lol you are implying that codex is the only item you can get for voodoo you know after your boots and your codex you still have 4 other slots. Come on now commons sense.

sure codex works in your 1300 games, but once you get a little higher people will actually get shrunken head to nullify your magic

@HoNSkillzNils Codex has been the standard build for voodoo/witch doctor since dota. Nothing easier than cursing and using codex then running back while you victim dies. IMO only noobs dont codex voodoo.
