@francescsants no dude. check out the studio album (the captain and the kid). it's the only good thing i've heard from him since the 70's. the whole album is with bernie taupin, and the songs are great. complete surprise from start to finish. the album is about their collaboration, and i promise you it is worth a complete listen.

@ladybluluv Expensive but wages are higher. Some of the natives who made a bundle selling their houses during economic good times had culture shock in the south & couldn't afford to move back. Current economy, they wouldn'y want to.

@ladybluluv In the mountains above the smog. Don't have to deal w/ the attitudes, fortuantely, as I do not live in a city crawling w/ the wealthy but I DO HATE THE TRAFFIC! I recgonize out-of-state plates since they all seem to have less than 7 letters/numbers.

True, Ca is far from perfect too. I lived there for about 5 years one and it definitley has some of the same problems and then some I'd change many things there too..mainly the attitudes and the expense..oh yeah..the smog...polution.

Wouldn't have it any other way? What about all the killings and how expensive it is to live there or travel into the city? I guess when you are rich and famous you have none of that to worry about, so it's all cool to you. I was born there and have lived there in the past, have traveled there for the day or night for various things and yeah, there are good things about it, but much bad too. I would change many things about it if I could.
