I don't think he cheated! Coming back from cancer you would think the last thing a person would do is put chemicals in to their body! He never missed a drugs test or failed one! I think i'm right in saying that blood and urine are frozen for future testing when the technology has improved. Someone reading might know for certain on that. Sad if it did ever transpire that he did! Love cycling and i was a good rider but had health problems over the years and he has been a great inspiration for me

song anyone?

@ClockCutter could not agree more. Im a LA fan but in recent years I've come to realize that he might have been a cheat...either way...they were all on dope and this guy either doped better, more or simply, had the raw talent to out ride anyone...ever.

beautifully motivating, Lance was sure something else.

1:35 so that's how Lance lost a testicle!

I can do high cadence but not when standing. My legs tire out and then don't co-ordinate the timing properly. The result is they fail to lift off in time for the upstroke and lose efficiency

I think Robbie Williams should have got into cycling:
Cause you pedal with a riddim and you rock the bike
And if you rock the bike I'll rock the bike RIGHT!!
You got no puff and you're in the wrong gear
IT'S TIME TO MOVE YOUR BODY!
If you can't break away but your team mate can
IT'S TIME TO MOVE YOUR BODY!

Drugs or not, Armstrong was simply magnificent.

Let's say, for the sake of argument, that Armstrong was doping (I think he did). EVERYONE else was doping, too, and Lance just fucking destroyed them. Let's not overlook that fact. It's not like drugs made the difference; Lance was simply the greatest Tour rider ever. Not the best all-rounder--Merckx, Hinault, Coppi, maybe even Berto when the book closes on his career. But Lance defined the Tour, and not vice-versa.
