I saw these is 1990 at the Newport Centre in South Wales. I was and still am into Heavy Metal etc but a mate had a spare ticket so I went along. They were awesome!!!
Can you explain how It Bites were trying to be Jellyfish when they had released all their albums and split up before Jellyfish even formed? It Bites' three albums were released in 1986, 1988 and 1989. Jellyfish's first record came out in 1990. Maybe you think It Bites had been spying on Beatnik Beach beforehand or something?
I love Jellyfish. As a "wasted potential" band they rank even above It Bites imo. Spilt Milk is a work of genius.
I agree. I saw FD recently and his acoustic guitar playing is something to behold - it's not overtly fancy fretwork but the chords and riffs he was playing (combined with at least 3 different tunings) were truly daunting to an amateur like me. Catch him if he ever comes by.
@TitanFind Thx for pointing that out. What a bizarre thing for anyone to have said...

Am I the only one who feels that this band is the best soundtrack to an idyllic youth ? they exude so much positivity, energy, fun etc. etc.

So, to be clear, Frank first came in her back door, then exited, and several "tears" were left on her cheeks?
Am I missing something here?

But your claim is absurd.
