  • better or worse mpg than 4bt?

  • @brettmjones From what I have heard the 4BT gets slightly better mpg. The difference is that this engine is extremely smooth and a 4BT will rattle your teeth out.

  • They are out of UPS trucks and stuff like that.. They are kinda rare but still out there taking up space in peoples garages.

  • PVC pipes will soften and melt over time. Do it right, use metal pipes

  • i think Komatsu also uses this engine

  • hows the pvc holding up?Its right next to the exhaust!Not to mention intake air temps over 300 degrees.

    Interesting use of PVC pipe, but hey if it works im not gonna knock it. Sometimes simple things work best :)
