Hula O Na Keiki - Kaanapali Beach Hotel

The Hula O Na Keiki is an annual children's solo hula competition, held on the grounds of the Kaanapali Beach Hotel. In addition to having good fun, the Hula O Na Keiki also helps to educate our children in the ways of our Hawaiian ancestors and preserves the culture for the next generation.

Children from ages 5 years old to 17 years old compete in their categories for the coveted awards and titles. Contestants are required to memorize a chant in the native Hawaiian language and perform one of their the kahiko (traditional) or auana (modern) style hula.

A special event at Kaanapali Beach Hotel, keeping the traditions alive at Maui's most Hawaiian Hotel.
