to bad owen obviously never really left the crowded mid-card..
looking back now..i think he just should have won the summerslam94-cage match fair and square..would have been something..but vince was too scared of the canadians..he rather gave it to "diesel..

My did they give him this Narcissist gimmick thing? Why couldnt he be just Lex Luger? Sure the dude was ripped. Im from Pensacola Florida and he had a summer home here back then, and each week on a local station he had a show about working out and health and fitness. And i mean this dude was legit, i dont think he ever took roids. At least back in the early days, maybe later on as he got older. But he was so smart on health supplements, and vitamins, he said he ate lots of chicken and pasta.

What was Lex Luger's first loss in the WWF? It wasn't against Yokozuna at WrestleMania X, was it? Surely, he didn't go an entire year without a loss.

@Fanik10 NO actually, If Owen Hart had not died from the accident he would NOT have stayed on WWF and been WWE champion at all! He would have jumped over to WCW Nitro and Thunder after his WWF contract expired to be with his brother Bret Hart and reform The Hart foundation to feud against The NWO! Owen Hart would have went to WCW after his WWF contract was up If he was still alive.

Luger actually did have *some* talent, but he was pushed too hard too fast, likely because he had a big-money contract from Vince's failing WBF. I don't think you can rightly call him a slouch in the ring. Even his biggest detractors in the biz admit that he was at least a hard worker. I mean, he's no Tiger Mask, but on the same token, he's no Ultimate Warrior, either.
