Thanks. :) Heh. I was concerned when I noticed the deer, too, and I just sort of blurted out those comments. From skijoring runs, Firenza has a pretty good idea that she can't take off sideways after the deer. After I got them going after they tried to turn right to go after the deer, there was a squirrel while we were stopped, which Firenza did try to take off sideways after. That's the direction she was looking (left) as I started them up again, and why I said "on by" there.

Thanks ! I was surprised at how well they did, too !

Yes, they're quiet. I like it that way. :) They're very quiet dogs in general, not making much noise and hardly ever barking. Firenza does have some really fun vocalizations when she's excited about seeing other dogs or me, or when she plays with dogs.

Great work Lisa! They are doing great. I love being able to hear your comments. You are brave to be running such speedy girls on that windy trail, I was starting to feel scared when you said 'Oh no, there are deer up there!' but they behaved and you did great! Thanks for sharing the video.
thanks for sharing - great video! Where is this trail??

Great video. They were really flying down that trail. Did you say 24km/hr? This weekend we hit 15.1mi/hr. No deer for distractions, just squirrels and rabbits. I look forward to your next video!!

Thanks. :) Yes, when I looked at my GPS a few times, it said that they were going 24, 25.6, and 28 km/h. Afterwards, my GPS said that their maximum speed was 29.8 km/h (18.5 mph). Wow !

Beautiful location, Lisa! Wish it wasn't paved for your dogs' sake, but we're in the same position - lack of trails that weren't designed for bikes and joggers/hikers. Very nice scooter and dogs, as well! :)

Yes, I'd prefer to find some unpaved trails. On a couple sections of this trail, though, there is a layer of hard dirt covering the pavement, perhaps run-off or creek silt. It almost made me think that one section was not paved, there was such a thick layer of dirt covering the top of it.
