    I absolutely love Janis Joplin and I am a purist. I hate covers done by metal bands, BUT I have to say this version still gives me goosebumps. Paul Shortino has so much soul and passion in his voice. This is a most excellent version. Love it!

    Some people get off on hearing Hendrix and Eddie Van Halen do solos, but I perfer vocal show cases like the one Shortino puts on in the end (or heck, during the entire song). Amazing blues/rock/melodic vocals, I wish I could sing like that!
