Hi Seoul Winter Festival is in progress, there's the Myeongdong Street that's nationally and internationally famous for shopping, food and fashion.
Myeongdong means 'Bright Village' and with the nearby Chungmuro, it is a traditional commercial area. High?rise buildings appeared after the urban redevelopment in 1956 and Myeongdong became today's shopping hub visited by all foreign tourists at least once during their visit to Korea.
Not second to shopping, continuous chains of popular and longstanding restaurants can be found here. Street?food is also a treat.
Recently, due to the influence of the exchange rate, there has been a sharp increase in the number of Japanese, Chinese and other tourists from nearby nations visiting on a shopping tour, proving Myeongdong to be a spot sheltered from economic stagnation.
Majority of the tourists showed satisfaction at the price, quality and design of the goods and the variety of things to eat here.

  • @tewkewl - Actually, I don't own an Italian restaurant. I described it inadequately and can understand the confusion. I was trying to explain that alot of ethic restaurants are owned by traditional owners from their original countries. There are Middle Eastern restaurants owned by Assyrians, Mexican restaurants owned by Mexicans, Italians....etc, etc. But, as you know...if you don't like Korean food, you don't have to eat it to survive there. Ofcourse as you know, that would be a waste.

  • @tewkewl

Uuups ... Looks like I got pwnd ...

I asumed you were an American crapping at anything non english.

Huh.. it thought it was korean because... It sounded like korean!

Ugh ... That korean hurts my ears ,,,

  • @uAfooLOL You are absolutely right. There is so much foreign food I'm Korea its ridiculous. I used to live in the coex and it was full of all kinds of food. But living in Korea without eating Korean food is total waste. Samgyup sal, dduk bokki and a plethora of other food. Heavenly. Which Italian restaurant do you own ill have to try it out!

  • @askjiir hey dumbfuck. I'm Korean. I know what Korean sounds like. That chick is speaking Chinese. It's a Chinese travel vid in Korea. 'you idiot'... ducking dolt can't even tell the difference between Korean and Chinese..... idiot.

  • @tewkewl

    It's Korean you Idiot.

  • i want hotter reporter

  • @boydleon2008 - That's a lame excuse. S.Korea is probably the only place in Asia where you could probably live there your entire life and NEVER eat Korean food if you didn't want to! Man, you can wake up and have Dunkin Donuts, then have Italian from 100 different places(from an Italian restaurant owner), then have friggin Tacos from 300 different places for dinner. Then have McDonalds for a late night snack if you've got the munchies, AND have that shit delivered! LOL!...Foo!

  • man. chinese hurts mah ears...
