From http://ridavio.com/ The New York City chapter of the League of Women Voters sponsored a demonstration of the new machines New Yorkers will use to vote in this election season. This is an excerpt from the full length show of the demonstration that is airing on Manhattan Neighborhood Network. New York City will be using paper ballets filled out in blue ink with pens provided by the board of elections. There will also be Ballot Marking Devices that will assist those who need help reading and marking the fine print on the ballot. Be sure to turn your ballot over as propositions you can vote on will be on the reverse side. And you still have the option to write in your candidate - in this case, peanut butter crunch!
