Islamic Center of Murfreesboro Dueling Pledges WKRN Report 9-24-10

This Nashville WKRN TV report contrasts the Islamic Center for Murfreesboro Open house and Pledge of Tolerance of Religious Freedom at which some Rutherford County Clergy attended with a protest by the newly formed Patriot Alliance for Rutherford Copunty (PARC) whose motto is Move On Islamic Sharia Law-Stand for humanity. Former Congressional candidate in the 6th Tennessee C.D., Lou Ann Zelenik was spokesperson for PARC which held a press conference in the Parking lot of Grace Baptist Church adjacent to the ICM project site. Ms. Zelenik read a Friendship Pledge that requested that Sheik Imam Ossam Bahloul reject Islamic Sharia law. Pastor Darrel Whaley of the Kingdom Worship Ministries presented a rebuttal statement to the ICM Pledge of Tolerance and Religious Freedom on behalf of Evangelical Christian pastors in the Middle Tennessee Community. The PARC Friendship Pledge was then conveyed to Sheik Bahloul by several PARC leaders. The controversy surrounding the islamic Center of Murfreesboro expansion project continues unabted despite approvals granted by the Rutherford County Commission in May and severral subsequent contentious hearings and protest rallies in this Middle Tennessee comunity.

There's a story in the Bible. You probably don't know it, but you should read it. It's the story of Balaam and Balak. Balak was a foreign king who wanted to destroy the Israelites and he hired Balaam to curse them. Balaam coudn't curse them cause he was a prophet of God.
