God defend New Zealand. Our National Anthem sung in both Maori and English complemented with fantastic scenery from all around the North and South Islands of NZ

  • Maori is a beautiful language....

makes the Aussie anthem look bad this does.... especially the one verse bullshit they always sing.

  • Dear people of New Zealand

In the next 4 years the people of Scotland will vote in a referendum to decide if they want to be an independent country, free from the United Kingdom. Please show your support for my countries INDEPENDENCE by giving this comment a thumbs up. Thank You

    From SCOTLAND.

Long May Scotland & New Zealand Prosper !

P.S. You may even get a new flag if we become independent as the Union Jack will no longer be a recognised Flag.

  • @lamareikan666 - Thank You -

  • Happy Waitangi Day from the USA

  • @glasgow1234 to be quite honest, I wouldnt be surprised. Or at least they're all actually Scottish, doubtless anyone else; because quite simply, its not really an important international incident, it really isnt. Ok, supposing that statistic about NZ is true - the entire population of NZ is what 4.4 million? You're using the same method of ignorant narrow minded statistics that newspapers use. I think you'll find, without much effort at all, British ties are far stronger and more numerous.

  • @IRememberTheOldDays Oh aye, that's what i've done. I've commented and then invited 5 of my best friends to give it a thumbs up. Get a grip ! No, there isn't the "occasional" Scottish link! New Zealand is the 7th largest country with the highest population of Scots and people of Scottish ancestry. As i said, do a wee search on google for - Scottish New Zealander and you will see our close links and shared traditions! And of course NZ has links with other countries!

  • @glasgow1234 you have 5 likes on a video of around 80,000 views; that goes no way to show widespread support for independence. And Ill wager they're probably scottish individuals who happened to watch this video, like yourself. (or who you invited? its a possibility). Oh I dont doubt there's the occasional scottish link but its not exclusively Scottish, not at all. Remind me who's flag is in the corner of theirs and whos commonwealth they're part of?

  • @IRememberTheOldDays The future of Scotland and whether we become independent and put an end to the United Kingdom is hardly a little situation. As my comment is one of the top comments, it seems the good people of NZ do care. Actually, NZ has a very large amount of people with Scottish ancestry with many towns and cities named after Scottish places. Search google for Scottish New Zealander to see our close links.

  • @glasgow1234 why on god's green earth are you bothering the lovely people of NZ about your little situation?? Far from them even caring, Im sure, it's not like their vote would be able to effect the out come! And for crying out loud, stop making it look like Scotland has a special relationship with anyone else other than the UK (for obvious reasons) because it simply isn't true.

  • Estive lá, pais fantastico, pessoas maravilhosas, o hino nacional é muito llindo, fiquei emocionado, parabéns Nova Zelândia, Deus a proteja.

  • nice anthem

  • beautiful song
