i'll give weller his due,he said he will never go back like THE POLICE,UNDERTONES,SPICE GIRLS,BOYZONE...Can you see why after the names I've just mentioned?? he has the ability to move on when RICK & BRUCE have not! great musicians but they could'nt write a song anywhere near weller's capabilities as long as they have holes in there arses. FACT!

weller is a fool to have passed up this opportunity. Of the Jam was truly amazing. Just saw the in LA. You and Weller can go sit in the old folkes home together and pretend his current tripe is valid crowebroke.

Saw Weller last night in Telford (21-6-07) playing his own songs. Feel very sad to see Bruce and Rick still milking Weller's prolific talent. The gravy train pulled in boys. Weller wrote the songs, Weller's vision and charisma was the band, how many Rick and Bruce originals do The Gift play? Even the name is a Weller product. Ridiculous.

I have just seen the band in Cork. I must admit to having reservations about this. However, I thought it was one of the best nights in my life. A warm tribute,
generous band and backsage staff. Will never forget it and will defo see them agian. Dave. Best laugh-getting autographs of Rick and Bruce in my forties-like a schoolkid again. Great lead singer. You do the songs justice. Please keep giggin.

Why hate Weller? Why call the other 2/3 of The Jam bozos? All were party to the original songs and in my eyes all have every right to perform them. Can also tell you that it doesn't sound wrong when you are there!!!
