Aesthetes, their passion, musical virtuosity and attendance to the content as well the context of Bani-Guru is commendable.

I have been long tired of pseudo-kirtaniye that swarm the Gur-darbars these days and for whom Shabd is a mere pretext to showcase mediocrity.

Instead, I see in Davinder Ji's performance an inherent sense of pride and dignity in the legacy of Kirtan among the Sikhs and for which, I congratulate them.

But. I am now curious about their next generation!
