  • @LeoBreeder42 I wouldn't use "miracle gro" anything with animals. Probably has some kind of fertilizer in it.

  • @550starlight To keep the eggs on - I don't like anything that might stain the eggs. Some kinds of dirts can do that.

  • Ok thanks, I was just wondering :) I guess I should have thought of that but what if it was a gecko safe dirt substrate? Don't worry I don't breed :)

  • @550starlight For incubating? Or what? I would not use aquarium gravel for incubating, it doesn't hold water, all of the water would be on the bottom of the incubator. 5 years of breeding and I haven't had either perlite or APS ingested.

  • Don't worry I don't breed geckos and I don't plan on it but if you were to breed geckos, would it's be ok to use non sharp aquarium gravel, or substrate that is safe if eaten? What else could you use? Just curious :)
