Let's talk about Cutting

Alot of people are calling cutter's EMO well I cut and I don't do it to fit into some group. I cut because it gives me something to feel. It's time to stop labelling and time to get out and talk about this. I also skin pick and apparently so do many others. This is the time now to stand up. I think the two are interlaced. Let's talk about it, NOW. CUTTERS UNITE, let's talk and stop hiding behind black hair and labels and if you skin pick talk about that too!!!

I had a fire because I fainted I have a medical issue that my internists are trying to figure out it had nothing to do with this.

I am actually glad you asked, I think alot of people would think what a stupid question. However it's not.!!!When you are upset and have been cutting for awhile sometimes the pain just doesn't register so we cut deeper and harder.

Making alot of people have the screwed up notion that we are "trying to kill ourselves". Which is generally not true! The pain does set in after the "rush" settles. Different people cut for different reasons mine is generally for control

its not only teens who cut,,sometimes the bullying comes from a teen to a parent and the parent starts cutting,,its not for attention or because your EMO,,its not a mental disorder ..its a way to release the pain...

Cutting yourself is just wrong.....u mess up the body god gAve u.... He did not put you on this world to cut your self......I don't care if people hate on this comment....at least im normal :p

@BFSsonic No i don't. I haven't got help from any adults, only friends and in my opinion i don't think i need to. If i did have to i probally wouldn't anyway coz in general i just dont like taking tablets.

@Co0kieSs2 just wondering if u have to take meds,and if so have any actually worked for any length of time?I found out that some medications can actually make this problem worse.Whats your thoughts on this.

@Co0kieSs2 Attention seekers will go to many extremes to get attention.They will make stories up about sex abuse,do mild harm to themselves,hurt other people.Attention seekers will go to some extremes,and cxant be trusted at all!People with real self harm problems almost always are more humble ,and almost everytime,won't respond with hostile comments,when certian things are said.Ive got many years experience on this subject.
