Live At The Ritz, May 29th, 1986. Though none of the singles from The Call's Reconciled made a dent on the pop charts, the anthemic march "I Still Believe" and the galloping "Everywhere I Go" (with backup vocals by Jim Kerr and Peter Gabriel) both received significant AOR and college radio airplay. It significantly raised the profile of the quartet and their earnest, U2-like brand of rock

  • Michael Been passed away of an apparent heart attack on August 19,2010. He was at the Pukkelpop Music Festival in Hasselt, Belgium. We have his son and family in our prayers. The Call's music will always live on.

  • Great song, Alot of heart in this man, and his snyth band!

  • I saw The Call in Portland Oregon in the early 90's with Meredith Brooks. What a great show.Seeing this video is really nice.

  • The call will always be one the bands that inspired musicians as well as music writers and people who enjoy great music, cause people like us we still believe. Thanks youtube.

  • Pure bliss...

  • One of the BEST songs of all time by one of the best bands of all time! Michael Been and the guys (Tom, Scott, & Jim) should have truly been America's U2, but crappy label support & horrible marketing caused them to miss the mark. The power and passion of this song is incredible. When I got down and my faith was waivering, I could (and still often do) play this song to feel energized and uplifted. Thanks Michael for including your faith in your great rock music! See you at The Resurrection!

  • I still believe !

  • I bet he still believes and now he really does know !

God gave him such great talent and his music/lyrics will outlive us all !

Thank you for your musical gifts here on earth.

True positive insperation in an insane world.

    God Bless you, Micheal

  • I heard this on the radio 5 days ago for the 1st time ever. The whole time I was thinking it was a new David Byrne song. The singer does have a similar voice. Well imagine my surprise to find it was by an 80's band I had never heard of before. I'm from '81 after all. Being a big U2 & Talking Heads fan, this is perfect for me. I'm a new fan.

  • @buzzn4jc Which just means he knows a fretless bass like few others do! His sense of pitch on that puppy is nuts!

  • @RyleeStrange Hammer-ons on a fretless bass to boot!
