Snap Fitness 24-7 in Marlton, NJ. This is primarily a range of motion exercise. Strength training and stretching are both beneficial but it is much better to build both at the same time. This is an excellent way to work your lower back and glutes without any extra loading on your spine (ex: barbell on back during additional sets of squats, good mornings, etc.). This is typically done towards the end of a squat or deadlift workout in the 10-20 rep range. This explains why I am wearing high socks....post conventional deadlifts...yes they serve a purpose.
