  • we are in desperate need of a new generation of fighters like Lester Roloff, Christians are being mocked, persecuted all over the world, and even here in the USA. We have to stand up to it together, we need som eleaders and we need some young men who are passionate about God!

  • If you would take the time to do some research you would find that Bro. Roloff lived in a very small house, had no car, flew a borrowed plane, and owned two (2) suits to preach in on Sundays! You ma'am are exactly the kind of person who starts ugly lies and rumours! PLEASE educate yourself!!

  • A great man of God he was, and helped so many youngsters with his homes and ministry.

  • @gnostyx I just watched the 20/20 piece and it doesn’t have anything to do with the Roloff Homes. The wicked men shown in that piece committed heinous crimes for which they should be imprisoned. But to suggest that that’s the norm in an IFB church is no different from saying that all Catholic priests are child molesters and all Muslims are terrorists. It’s simply ignorant.

  • Well good christian, that was fairly insulting. You don't know who I am or what my problems were when I was 16. But this Friday night on 20/20 at 10:00 PM, the world will hear the story of what these home have done to us. Please address any more points of your argument to them. My family, my friends, and my fellow survivors are standing behind me. God bless.

  • @gnostyx If you weren’t a mess, you wouldn’t have been sent to one of the homes in the first place. If you were never sent to one of the homes, you would still have most of the same issues that you have today. The only difference is that now you have an excuse for failure. Blaming other people. Blaming the injustices of the world. This is not conducive to self-improvement.

  • By defending the actions of the abusers, you are no better than them. The truth is that terrible things happened to children at the hands of the staff of the Roloff Homes. As long as the survivors of these "Christian Homes" are alive, we will fight against the mentality that teaches others that it's good to beat the fear of god into the young. We will scream the truth out loud for all to hear, and we will stand against you blind followers. We are not scared children anymore.

  • @gnostyx The homes were designed to serve as an alternative to prison for troubled youths. Trust me, you would have had a much worse time in prison. A lot of these kids got put back on the right track because of their experience in the homes. There are a lot of smart-mouthed kids that need a good smack across the face. Try talking back to a correctional officer and see what happens. The fact is that if you don’t put stripes on your kids now, the government will later.

  • I would like to have the words to the song at 4:16 it sounds very solemn and powerful to me.
