I agree that the show should have aired later in the day, probably between 4 PM and 5 PM , the show had a lot of talent and should have been in production longer than it was, 6 months was not enough time for it to catch on.

hm. I was glad I was a kid for the 90's MMC when I first started playing this, but after that dance I gotta admit it probably woulda' been kinda fun watching this as a kid! ;p

I love this song and dance number! good thing I have the song on record so I can listen 2 it anytime i want. Now if only DISNEY would put this (and the rest of the show) out on DVD....

Oh wow. Does this bring back memories. I was 8 years old when the NMMC debuted in 1977. The problem was that the local tv station aired it on the weekdays around 2pm in the afternoon and school didnt let out until 3pm. So the only way I could see an episode here and there was if I was sick, on vacation, or cut out of school early. I think the ratings would have improved if they only aired it at a better time when we kids could see it. And I had the maddest crush on Kelly!!! (who didnt?)

Notice how Kelly is unable to lip sync the word mousekedance in full. She gets out the first part: "Mouseke", but doesnt mouth the last part, "dance"
