so, your logic is tibet should be perserve in a perfect tourist museum where nothing changes to make tourists happy?then all of tibet should go back to the 1950s where monks rape little boys, no modern medicine, no public education, people travel in donkeys and horses and no roads?go ask any tibetan and ask them if they perfer to wash clothes in icy cold weather when it is 19 degrees below zero or do they want to use washer and drier instead?

One reason why I won't go to Tibet until its free is that road names have been changed to chinese names. The point of going to Lhasa is that its a city of great historical significance.
But if all the road names have been changed to Chinese names there is little history there, just Cultural DESTRUCTION
