Im tryin to learn bass for a band im joining and its wayy easier and is a huge help if you go from guitar to bass. In my opinion bass is easier and funner to play than guitar if you play songs like this

its tricky for a beginner but you get used to it and about that comment about "what happend to being awsome" , i think its a mix of him getting older and having kids to deal with as well as like 2 or 3 ex wives asking him for money that made his playing abit sloppy
