Just playing around on the Korg DS-10 synth for the Nintendo DS to show some friends a bit of what it can do. All sounds are coming from the DS, and playing directly through the Roland KC-350 keyboard amp.

At the end, I am just making a mess of the touch screen (aka Kaoss Pad in this situation) to show what it sounds like when you just make random scribbling motions.

  • You could definitely export it as audio through the headphone jack. You would just have a single stereo wave file on your computer. It doesn't have MIDI (other than synching it over wifi with other DS-10s,) so you can't actually have your sequencer data transferred to your PC. They are looking at that option for a future product though.

  • @1XxOnIxX1 Can't speak for the uploader, but in my case, I have one of those cartridge/card adapters that lets you put DS ROM's on a Micro SD card. This allows you to plug the Micro SD into the computer to back up your .SAV files. It's come in handy more than once! For recording the output though, I've had to resort to the ol' analogue input on the back o' my computer. Oh well, gotta work with what ya got!

  • i have a quetion: is it possible to upload the tunes you make on the ds to a laptop or computer?

  • good sound from a 1" x 1 1/2" plastic chip
