McLaren F1 GTR VS Mclaren F1 two seater Great sound! West McLaren Adrenaline Mallorca 1999

In 1999 I was working for a company called Bernax. Bernax is selling race simulators and you can hire them for events. Take a look at www.bernax.nl. That year we had several events for WEST the sponsor of Mclaren. In july 1999 we went to Majorca for a promotion event for West sigarettes on the boulevard at Palma. The people there could drive in the race simulator and the winner of the fastest lap had won a ride in the McLaren F1 GTR or in the McLaren F1 twoseater. The GTR was driven by Chris Goodwin and the F1 was driven by Darren Turner. Later that year I had the same event in Poland, and I was a lucky man to drive( as a passenger) with the GTR during the warm up in the morning. It was a great experience an I hope tro give you an impression of how great the event was. One little funny thing is: It was the West McLaren MERCEDES Adrenaline event. but in the GTR is a BMW engine.

I always found it funny that McLaren got Mercedez engines for F1 and won the Le man 24h with BMW engines in 1995. Great video.
