  • @Armaangandevia1

Hi yes that is the best way to fix it, also you can follow my tutorial on how to open the ipad 2 first, the video is called How to Tear Down iPad 2, follow that to open it then use this video to replace your wifi cable, i hope this helps and if you need anything else just ask,

    kind regards,

    Neill.

  • i hvae had a problem.not with your video, the ipad i fixed. it went in all fine and i stuck it down but the customer has had it back and they are saying its moving from screen to screen without touching it and pressing things.is there any solution? do i need to check its stuck down flat? ta

Hi, it sounds like the cable connecting the LCD is not connected properly to the mother board, if I was you that would be the first thing to check, The only other thing it could be is you have damaged the digitizer cable, ( it is very easy to do as I have damage one before) check to see if you have cut the digitizer cable, that will also cause that problem, i hope this helps,

    kind regards,

    Neill.

  • thank you. i had 1 screw out on the centre battery ready to remove the mother board when i thought id better check youtube first. lucky i did. ta

Hi, the only suggestion i have is to change it again, i don't like saying that but it is the only option you have, sorry to say it as you have already changed it once, i hope this helps,

    kind regards,

    Neill.

  • @Nick45211 I have the same exact problem did you find a way to fix it after I replaced mine I have terrible signal any ideas.

  • @Nick45211

Hi, yes you do have to bend it when you screw it down, I hate saying this but the only thing you can do is change it again and see if it's better, if not take it to a repair center and see what they think, sorry,

    kind regards,

    Neill.
