  • Why this band never became famous as the top bands of all time is a mystery to me. Genius and perfection.

  • possibly my fav drum-line of all time!

  • Most of the creative talented groups and individuals failed to thrive after 1983, it seemed people wanted slick pap like Madonna (who pre-1983 would have been a one-hit wonder) or sanctimonious over emotional bilge a la U2. This song is a reminder of the sort of gems we had before those dark times befell us.

  • They are brilliant, who cares if they didn't become as big as U2, doesn't make their music any the less

  • @Rushynet Their inability to tour after Partridge's breakdown. They never would've been the worldwide household names contemporaries like U2 became, they were nonetheless consistent hit-makers by that point, and on the verge of taking things to the next level. *sigh*

  • @realself1 Brilliant drummer, YES!

  • brilliant drummer, no?

  • So that's what Jinxed XTC.. Noel Edmonds liked em!

  • their lyrics were too smart for the masses-brilliant

  • Great!

  • I know it's lip synched, but this video is still an awesome snapshot of XTC in their prime.
