140 years after the arrive of the blacks ships on Japan the bloodshed of Bakumatsu started, and a mam known as Hitokiri Battousai emerged, he became a important Hitokiri but after the Bakumatsu,at the begin of Meiji era, he dissapeared and became legend as "The Strongest"

And the story begin

11 Year of Meiji era in Tokyo..

Kenshin the Hitokiri Battousai decides to wander and meet Kauru Kamiya at Tokyo,he finds out a guy is slaying people in the name of Hitokiri and Kaoru wants revenge because he uses the name of her school, Kenshin fights with him and broke his hand, so he cant use swords any longer
