I agree. I take nothing from Aretha (as she is my icon), but I really love the vocal quality of both Carolyn & Erma, the oldest sister. They all bring something different to the table.

Here is something a lot of people don't know. Carolyn, an accomplished musician, composer and singer, was a genius driving force behind some of her big sister, Aretha's biggest hits, many on which she also sang in the background.

I wonder if this song, "There it Is," could have been Aretha's next hit, following "Rock Steady?"
