Proposal For: "GOOD" A Music and Fashion Community Benefit

OBJECTIVES
1. Raise money & awareness for 3 organizations in the Bay Area that are effecting positive community change through
their programs & services.

2. Create an opportunity for everyone involved to build strong bonds with communities in the Bay Area by giving back to
them in time, money & support.

3. Support local businesses & artists by giving them a perfect venue to attract new customers.

WHO THIS BENEFITS

-Ella Baker Center-
Based in Oakland, CA

The Ella Baker Center for Human Rights is a strategy and action center. They have helped to pass legislature such as:
the Green Jobs Act & the Family Connection Bill. They also started the Green for All Initiative & are working on closing
California's abusive, expensive youth prisons and replacing them with rehabilitation centers and community-based
programs.

Youth UpRising is a state of the art building that offers a wide range of free programs and services that develop youth
leadership in order to transform the community.

MOTTO: "Dedicated to being a leader in the advancement of youth leadership development as a means of affecting
positive community change by ensuring that youth and young adults are supported in actualizing their potential."

Based in San Francisco, Ca

Visions of la Moda is a free high fashion, hands-on program that is offered to youth ages 9 - 21. Their vision is to provide
their students with the best introduction to the fashion industry attainable who otherwise might not be able to access this
education & experience.

DESCRIPTION OF EVENT

WHAT: We will host a social event & get the community involved in a fun way to give back. At the door we are asking
guests for a $20 or more donation. We are also looking for sponsors to support the event/organizations. 100% of all
proceeds will be going to the 3 chosen organizations. G&S Inc has put out a call for people who can donate to help
this event, and already the response is overwhelming!
