It's nice to know that a non-Gypsy Romanian likes something Gypsy.
Please let other Romanians know that harming the weak in your society eventually leads to that harm creeping up the socio-economic ladder to harm many others.
It's not just me who says this, but also the world's leading minds. Try to find this book, available in both audio and print. For a book that covers complex topics, it's amazingly easy to read:
"A Demon Haunted World-Science as a candle in the dark" by Carl Sagan.
I don't think you know who is harming who in our society. We, or at least I, have nothing with the gypsies in our country that work for a living and live a honest life. No matter what that work may be. However, when the majority of the gypsy population in our country prefer to beg, cheat or steal, racial profiling gets easier and easier. I love being in contact with different cultures, however we cannot respect the gypsy culture without them respecting the rules of our own.
It's not as if all Gypsies woke up one morning and said, "From now on, we shall beg, cheat and steal."
As I say, that's putting it extremely briefly.
You seem well educated. But it seems that in your country, as in mine, there are many important things that are just not taught in schools. And that missing information handicaps young people terribly when they are launched into the real world. Your last comment just illustrates what I've just said.
Andro verdan grundos nane (In the caravan there is no floor) M'n pirani shukar nane (I have no sweet lover) Loli phabay precinava (I will cut this red apple) Hop, hop, hop Yek pash tuke, yek pash mange (Half for you, half for me) Hop, hop, hop.
