Immigration Reform: Schumer-Graham amnesty bill includes biometic identification card

The blueprint for immigration reform introduced by Senators Schumer and Graham and endorsed by President Obama includes a biometric identification card which would be required of by all Americans.

While I don't think this bill has a chance in hell of passing, I thought it was important for you to know what the biometic identification card means to you.

@NeedAJobUSA I think this is a great idea. If immigrants want to be part of US they should show that they are really commited to the Country by their actions. If their actions are acceptable and they provide help and support to US then they will be eligible to be part of it. Immigrants that commit crimes and abuse the system do not deserve to be there. Obama didn't even mention immigration in his speech today. I think ALL immigrants would offer to help control the border by offering community service based organization efforts/labor/services etc.. - on a volunteer basis - more American's would be open to Amnesty & also see FIRST hand you really do care about America!

It is not so much the card, but the data or 1s and 0s in the card, that when you rely on machines to determine the identity of people, then you permit the possibility of two or more cards having on the face different persons, but having the same data or 1s and 0s in the card. -- Mickey Mouse

What needs changing is the parts of 8 US Code 1401that says, a child born to a US Citizen and a non-US citizen, in/out of USA, is a dual-citizen, but not a natural born US citizen. That a child born into the marriage of two US Citizens, in/out of USA, is a natural born US citizen. That a child born to two non- US Citizens, in the USA, is not a US citizen, but inherits the nationality of the parents. We need parent's nationality of state birth certificates.
