I dont know much about Rotary engines so can you tell me how to make a 13B to this stadium (race car) I think it has to do with porting alot I guess.

The engine is full peripheral port setup with ITBs (I think the Webers have been replaced by fuel injection). It's not really a setup that you should attempt if you don't know much about the rotary.

Ok, Wankels are pretty complicated I guess, people say it drinks oil as much as gas and repairs are expensive + they break down alot. I dont know what to look at in a Rotary engine so I would know if its in good shape from the previous owner, I guess its about the person who owned it...I would need some info of this car because Im probably going to buy ty Rx-8, all Im afraid of is the repairs and break-downs.

Don't let me discourage you, because that was not my intention. The rotary is actually far less complicated then those ridiculous piston engines. They are highly reliable, oil consumption is about 1 litre per 1000 miles. I was only saying that it would be best you started with a less radical setup then a peripheral port race engine. Start with a stock port 13B, play with that for a while, and then do something a bit more wild like bridge or peripheral ports.

RX-8's tend to break down a lot because they switched to side port exhaust... the older rotaries before the RX-8's were very well built and last forever if you drive them right(stay away from constant low RPM's).... thats why they cruise on the freeway at 4k... because they like high revving... RX-8's just get too much carbon build up on the apex seals because its harder for the carbon to escape through the side ports... but you should still drive RX-8's at high rpm if you want them to last...

There were sadly many problems with the RX-8, not just carbon buildup in the side ports. Porus rotor housings, lack of oil from the metering oil pump, ECU reprogram after reprogram after reprogram, etc.

There's someone who gets it. :-) I don't open my mouth (or keyboard) unless I know for sure. I still have not asked Alan but there is information on his build in the Canadian forum at RX-7 Club. As for Tina, if someone would organize a meet near Toronto and give enough notice, then I'd certainly attend. :-)
