The powerful "Enseleni" tug boat, now residing in Cape Town, is seen being launched from the berth of SAFBuild in the port of Durban, South Africa... but with a difference. The day-long process has been speeded up from 6 hrs to 30 seconds! Watch how a magnitude of 400 men guide and slide a $71 million, Voith Propulsion tug over 200m using 80 gallons of dish washing soap to eventually be lifted and dropped into the bay. This was an engineers nightmare, and dream.

  • @railrdr523 if you read the description its 6 hours

  • nice job

  • Wonderful, but does it blend?

  • How COOL was that?!!

  • Cool, Nice job.

  • @hwoods01 ya cus that "raft" has enough power (and weight) to pull a ship

  • all that shit for a small raft? OMGz..

  • COOL...Thanks you, Videos very nice, 5★★★★★

  • Now I can see why it's popular to just dump the ship off a ramp and into the water. Lot faster. Nifty to see the alternative.

  • Um that so wasn't a 30 second tug launching!!!!!!!!!!
