Costa Concordia Accident

Em janeiro de 2012, a embarcação naufragou em rochas próximo à Isola del Giglio, região da Toscana, deixando ao menos 16 mortos. Segundo comunicado da Costa, o navio bateu em um banco de areia, porem fotos da mídia deixam claro que ele bateu em rochas, deixando um pedaço preso ao navio e pedaços do casco no ponto do acidente. O navio encontra-se cerca de 2/3 dentro d'água tombado para a direita de sua proa. Apos um solavanco e um apagão, o comandante comunicou que havia uma avaria no gerador e que em breve a energia seria restabelecida, porem logo solicitou a tripulação que colocasse os coletes e deixassem o navio o que provocou certo panico, levando as vitimas a carem no mar e se afogarem. Atualmente o navio corre um sério risco de afundar completamente, acabando com a esperança de resgatar sobreviventes.

Bem, é verdade que isto foi um acidente horrivel, mas comparando com outros o numero de mortos não é muito alto, contudo todas as mortes são preocupantes. Todos sabem que a culpa deste acidente foi de um homem muito estúpido, que alterou a rota para dizer um 'adeus' a um amigo. É por culpa deste homem, Francisco Schettino, que tudo isto ocorreu, e é por isso que não vou ficar com medo de voltar a embarcar num destes grandes navios. Foi simplesmente um erro humano.
