@LCRDKazrai misfortune and awesomeness occur in tandem in Dwarf Fortress, ALL THE TIME. Just today i had a case of a single hammerdwarf going into a martial trance and slaughtered over 30 goblins (the rest RAN away as fast as they could) during a siege. However, during the chaos, a fireimp managed to sneak into my magma pump level, connecting to the magma sea, and killed the bottom pump (for you who play DF, im imagining cringing), this is serious because it destroys the ENTIRE pump stack.
