@BEARARMZ the nicotine in cigarettes helps a person calm down and focus. the taste of smoke is enjoyable to smokers. smoking is also a social event and it gives you something to do in between talking. also, when you're waiting for something, like a bus or a train, you can occupy yourself by smoking. yes, to me these are shitty reasons considering the cost (both in health and in money) but they are most common.

I think cigarette companies should be allowed to advertise like they use to. It is unfair that anti-smoking advertisements to air when tobacco companies advertisements cannot. I remember seeing commercials when I was a kid and never did they make me want to smoke and I've never have.

Most smokies didn't quit because they were hopelessly addicted. The liberal kids are eating quite well in school now......pulled pork BBQ....steak every Thursday....keep smoking smokies and help the kids, don't be a quitter like astrofreak!
