Every modern punk band is a corporate "rip off" as you say. Bad Religion rakes in millions from Epitaph where they take a subculture, strip mine it of the radicalism that originally spawned it, gave themselves credit for creating it, and sold it back to us at twice the price. The Offspring no longer play punk, ever since Conspiracy of One they've been just another pop punk band. The examples are countless. the spirit of punk is dead. It died with the 80s

I mean hell I even go in there for some gaming shirts and some shoes(hell they sell All Stars for cheaper than anyone around where I live) but I never claim to be punk. but I respect the real punk culture, and not this current culture of emo band boys, scene kids, and fake punk kids who think they're punk or goth because the shop at the hop topic.
